Emmanuel Centre in the High Plateau of Eastern Congo

In Emmanuel Centre situated in the High Plateau area of Eastern Congo we have a children’s village, school and homes for orphans from the conflict in the area.

Emmanuel Centre is Pastor Ruben’s vision for caring for orphaned children in the mountains of Eastern Congo. We have five children’s homes built which house 10 children and two mama’s in each dwelling.  While we are very grateful to the organizations and individuals who are funding these homes, there is need for more homes for the many orphans in this area.

A new school is in process of being finished, thanks to many individuals and organizations who have provided funds for this. We provide work for men in the area as they do the construction of homes and the school.

The women are thrilled to be able to get their flour already ground. They said they are happy that now their hands do not look like their feet! Previously they spent hours pounding maize to make flour.
